Sound file disclaimer statement
The webmasters of this site wish to declare that they have no claims of any rights (publishing or musical) to any sound files that are found on this site. The purpose of puting them on this site is to make the general public aware of all songs that have qualified to the Eurovision Song Contest finals or have reached the final stages of a national broadcasters selection procedure. It is NOT the webmasters intention to make monies away from songwriters/composers by denying them cash from record/CD sales. The webmasters, active supporters of the Eurovision Song Contest, wish to publicly state that all songs should be purchased wherever possible and discourages the storage of the sound files for other than evaluational purposes on other user's computers.
As in line with the European Broadcasting Union rules relating to the Eurovision Song Contest it is the webmasters intention to promote the contest to the wider European and global audience, both through sound files and positive Public Relations.
Any national broadcaster or composer(s) of songs that appear on this site should, in the first instance, contact one of the webmasters at legal@eurovisionhouse.nl regarding any copyright issues that they may have. The webmasters wish to remind everyone that negotiation is better that direct action in these instances.
Any webspace provider wishing to claim breach of acceptable user policies about the storage of soundfiles for use on this site by the webmasters must first of all note the following:
1) All copyright for the songs played on the site is held with the composers and/or broadcasters.
2) All sound content on this site is deemed to be for demonstration only.
3) All files for which the composer(s) or their representatives have contacted the webmaster at the published address regarding removal of such songs have been removed.
4) All files are deemed to be in the public domain until otherwise instructed.
As all files are usually made via radio or TV broadcasts of Eurovision selections, the webmaster wishes to point out that if anyone wishes to complain about soundfiles on this site as being illegal or infringing copyright we would strongly urge them to contact ALL Eurovision fans around the world and prosecute them as well, as video and audio tapes of finals are swapped freely around the world thereby causing copyright issues. The webmasters wish to point out that this is not often followed up and perhaps webspace companies should think of this before acting.
